Amazing Dates

AAAAAHHHHH! The nerves are a brewing. I'm getting ready for our date. I always seem to get freaking nervous. I don't know why but I do. I really wanted to go to Park City to do a little shopping before school started and to have a little fun. Of course my favorite thing to do in Park City besides skiing is going down the alpine slide. I really wanted to take Steph there for her to try it out. She has never been down the slide and I wanted her to try it out. Steph, Mary and I went and tried it out. I have never seen Mary so scared. It was super fun to go down the slide.
I had asked Steph out on a date for that night. I put on one of my awesome new shirts from Park City and picked her up. (this time not having a PPI with Stephanie's Mother of course.) We went to the wonderful world of LAZERZONE. We met up with Scott, Dallas, Kendall, Christine, Rachel, and Nicole and went laser tagging. In a close battle I lost every time. I'm just too big of a target for those laser tagging freaks. We then had some fabulous dessert at the one and only Just Desserts. Yummy. We then proceeded to go to Dallas' house and watch a movie. I had a great time and was sad that school was starting.
This time Stephy kinda asked me out on a date to Lagoon. yeah due to the unfortunate circumstances of rain we opted to go bowling. We went with Stephs bro. and sister-in-law. I really stink at bowling and can never hit the front pin. Bowling straight is not an option in my world of bowling. We went to Fatcatz and Bowled and played arcade games. Actually Steph and I DDR'd it. I am not coordinated at all and really stunk it up but Steph is a pro. We then went to dinner at The Mandarin. I was really intimidated because we went with Stephs family. I was so nervous and didn't talk much(i know what your thinking. It is possible for me to not talk!). I had a super great time and, even though I was nervous, had a great day spending it with Stephanie.

JACK

Bubbly Toes, Banana Pancakes, Mud Football yes that is classic Jack Johnson. I went with some buddies of mine to the great Jack Johnson concert at the USANA Amphitheater. I have to admit I really only went because Dallas was afraid to go by himself and the chick he was with. I have been trying to get into the Jack Scene but I have to admit that all his music sounds alike. There isn't really any variation. I liked that I went and listened but I don't listen to him on a daily basis. To be perfectly honest, I'm not that big of a Jack fan. I had a lot of fun. I thought his opening bands were good and I actually liked them a little bit better then Jack(Neil Halstead and Rogue Wave). They had a little more variety. Don't get me wrong, I like Jack but at the same time I could have be listening to something better. Well that is my experience of Jack Johnson. I wish I could have spent the money I spent on the tickets on tickets for Toby Keith or something.

Rodeo

"And they called it Rodeo"-Garth Brooks. I really like to go to the Rodeo. Annual tradition is that I dress up like a cowboy and go to the Rodeo. This year I decided to take a lovely date to the rodeo. I was freaked out in the beginning as I pretty much had a PPI with Stephanie's Mother. My favorite part of the PPI was the saying, "cars are made for transportation. They take you there and back. Nothing else!" That was the worst part of the date by far but Stephanie finally came up to save me. (I have since learned to text Steph and ask if she is ready before I come so I don't have to go through another one of those.) It was quite enjoyable to see Stephanie get into it as much as I did (she went and bought a hat, belt buckle, and shirt for the Rodeo)! My favorite part of the Rodeo is the bull riding but this year I don't think one of the cowboys stayed on for the whole 8 seconds. I think we had one but he cut it pretty close. Another part I like is the team roping and once again they both can't get the ropes on those freaking calves. Overall the date went spectacular and the Rodeo was a blast. Oh I always go with the Applonie's(they are my second family). Good times. Rockin at the Rodeo!
